Running as admin didn't help. Still no friends list or ui settings. I just cut my losses and redid my ui setup and added what friends i remember back to my friends. I know I'm missing out on a lot of them...but i guess if they are friends then they will talk to me first at times too [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

is it possible that you were playing from a completely different everquest folder? (like a copy somewhere else on your harddrive)

No, i don't think so. I only have the one folder with eq stuff in it.
