Screenshot setup?

Hey guys,

I took a screenshot the night I finished my epic and it doesn't seem to be anywhere. I'm workin on the solo challenge thing now and want to post some pics as I do it, but can't figure out how to get my screenshots to save to a folder that I can copy and paste out of...

Anyone know what I need to do to get set up on this? thanks.

You know where to find your screenshots right?

Your P99 Folder -> Screenshots

Just create a shortcut to the screenshots folder and put it on your desktop or wherever :)

I just looked in my p99 folder. There is no screen shot folder. If i make one will that automatically become the default location for them?

Were you looking in the right place?

Easy way to find where they went is to search your computer for whatever screenshots save as. So hit your start button and search for Eq000001 and see what pops up.

Here's a screeny of my EQ folder...no screenshot folder to be found.

And I did a search on my computer for eq0 and got nothing, did eq and got a bunch of random stuff, but no images.

uh oh. may have a big boo boo...just tried to make "screenshots" as a folder in my directory. then loaded the game and all my settings and friends list, etc...ui...everything back to original and friends list empty.

Any way to salvage?

edit - but for the record, the folder works. my newest screenshot is there...eq00000 or whatever. just lost all my settings in the process...

this sounds fuugd up.

Sounds like it created a new .ini file for your character (modified date on file will match your last logoff)

so you need to delete it, find the original .ini file for your character, and rename it to the file you just deleted.

Ok i found the "new" ini files for the 2 characters i logged on just now and had the issue with. Where do I find the "old" ini files before i delete these ones? What is the name of it going to be?

thanks for the help, sorry this turned into a mess...no idea why me adding that folder would screw this up though...

i dunno search for other ini files within the same folder that contains ur character name in the filename
