Because you totally wouldn't just bitch that people spam you for tells for ports, instead of the individual asking kindly in a general channel if anyone is available.

If they tell me exactly what they want from me, and I want to provide it because I get paid and/or just want to help, then I don't consider that spam. I'd rather they just send me a tell, instead of actually spamming chat when no one is willing or able to port them.

Where the fuck are you getting this idea that they're only asking you? Maybe someone else is anonymous but open to ports if they see the offer, maybe they dont ... *gasp* WANT TO FUCKING BOTHER YOU and ask in public channels instead. Get the fuck over yourself.

Honestly my biggest pet peeve is when people actually try TALKING to me in game. I am like "Hellooooo! I am here for the RPG side not the MMO side of this game! Duh?!" If I wanted to talk to a bunch of inbred nerd monkeys, I would post on forums.
