Alot of people play with custome ui's anyways which makes things easier.

Bottom line dude is this is the closest your gonna get to playing classic eq. Question is are you gonna just tuck tail and wine or get down and dirty with us? I prefer you just get a ui you like and enjoy the content. Seems a waste to not get in on something that's free and fun.

I understand..I wish they had a classic ui too thats functional anyway..I just se the velious,but they do have custom ones you can use.

The problem is the old, old UI is *COMPLETELY* removed from the client. Velious UI is the closest you are going to get to it.

The 2001 Velious UI is actually a hardcoded version of the xml format we see today, so yeah...

Use the "default" or the "default_old", it's a tiny bit more classic than the velious" ui imo. Get cracking.
