Whatever my opinions worth, I rolled around at around 150 mr in kunark as a rogue since I had RB/full jewlery and all that shit and can't remember shit ever landing on me unless I was debuffed, as far as snares/roots/mez's go.

I can think of one single item that lets bards and enchanters cure disease on an enemy, and it's an ultra rare drop from Plane of Hate. Crimson potions are cheap and instant cast. It was always way too strong a counter to mez. I can see why they'd think of removing it on red99. Maybe they can put them back in in Kunark when unresistable mez comes into the picture.

Enchanter 4 slot dispel, tash and their buffs are definitely not enough right? As long as they remember to bump up the debuff rate on resist debuffs like classic, crimson pots should stay in the game. Most people won't buy them or use them right anyways.

Who says you need to get that insanely rare POH shield to be effective? You can have someone in your group remove their crimson pot debuff real fast. Shaman + chanter debuff patrol is pwn.

He's very right. I don't think you should slide down the slippery slope of trying to make everything fair and balanced, esp when 1v1 is a concern. That was never the point. People want their classic EQ, whether it was user friendly or not.

If you're gonna alter stuff, might as well just go all the way and have enchanters run up to the trakanon ledge in sebillis, cast AE stun, then Gflux all 30 people off the cliff to their doom.
