Yes, it 100% was. Source: I stayed in BBM for way too long in the year 2000. So I asked myself the same question as OP: Why are some greens still giving XP? The answer came with the pre-luclin patches.

Consider color is client side. Client side changes are harder to make.

Long ago, we made a client change to remove light blue as it wasn't appropriate for the era. We need to apply an era rule to enable it when the time is right. It's on a list.

What's on da list, chief? Bug ForumQuesting has been slow lately and I need some hope that the big inaccuracies are known and will be worked on. No way to tell with the lack of transparency from the devs. I also feel like the project needs more helping hands. Need moar devs!!!
