Game Mechanics: Death and Mana

I'm aware that it will happen if you die and don't lose experience (dot after zoning, etc) and the server considers it a duel death. But wasn't aware of it on a consistent basis from PVE deaths that caused experience loss.

My 12 pally has this, as well as my 10 necro. I just noticed it on pally a few days ago, but I can't say whether that was the first time it happened or whether I didn't notice it before.

It was something that was happening in the server's infancy which was later fixed. It's possible that a certain fix rebroke this. But yeah, this was a bug a long time ago.

every death since oct 2010 . we had a conversation about that topic in guild shortly befor i went mia . so AT LEAST since that time you reappear with same mana after a death .

yeah im having this issue with my necro, i was chased down bu 9 skellies and kobolds in toxx, 4% mana when i took my dirt nap, pop back up in paineel and im still at 4%. happened about 12min ago >.<

I have had this happen for every death I've encountered since level 1. I started P99 in the beginning of March with this occurring. Even with deaths that should not result in a loss of experience (Below level 5 I believe?) I die with the same amount of mana which I had prior to dying.

To be honest, I do not remember how it was during live. I could remember dying then sitting with my spellbook open for an amount of time memorizing spells and medding for a little bit. I've grown to expect the mana staying the same before and after death so it's not an issue, however it would be amazing if I died and came back to my bind point with full mana.

I didn't see this on patch notes, but just died with necro who was lom and respawned fom. Was this fixed?
