Plus, even if you optimistically take a $100/month AWS bill (and I strongly suspect that's too low, having used AWS to run web applications with far lower requirements), how much do you really think people donate a month? Out of maybe 2k average users I'd think less than 0.1% actually donate, with maybe an average donation of $10 each, for a total of $20 a month.
Even at 10x my estimate, that's only $200/month, which again is chump change for someone making $10k/month.

Skarlorn just so you know Lhance is a leech and you're his latest victim. He latched on my leg early on. So just a friendly heads up. He'll try to ride your rep on the forums. I took a hot knife and touched it to the leech,. it fell off and crawled away looking for another victim.
