This is when I started to farm some stuff once I got to lvl60. I dont know why I couldn't get more than 30k on them, even more that I remember that it probably took over 2 weeks to sell them. I guess the demand was probably not as high, but hell that's 3-4x the price it used to be.

Note: The price on Fungi Tunic hasnt changed much while the Fungi Staff is sold for like 15k now

Double prices item sales are just thinly veiled RMT. They have no intention of selling their item to you for a measly 100k. It's not even their item. It was gifted to them (from the plat dealer) to 'sell' to the plat dealer on a different character.
