Yea, but NPCs shouldn't be able to do that.
Getting hit through the ceiling in Hate 2.0 or getting hit by a rooted mob 1 floor below you in Kedge Keep shouldn't happen. NPCs should have the same Z-Axis limitations as PCs when trying to connect hits. Thus the rise of pillar tank/z-axis exploiting. I suppose the way it's done here may be done to avoid any potential Z-Axis exploits with tanking, but it's really annoying to have a mob in Hate 2.0 start beating you down on the floor above you. It should classicly aggro you and then proceed to train the shit out of your raid!

Thanks for the input. I hope this exploit gets fixed. Its a shame raiding guilds are taking advantage of this unclassic mechanic

Honestly I can't find a single reason people would be against a small hit box reduction in order to fix the fact that people can attack dragons through walls unless that reason is leaving it in to potentially exploit. Leaving this the way it is just guarantees if not now someday this will be exploited. You do not have to be very clever or creative to figure out how attacking a mob through a los blocking wall would be beneficial in some scenario.

I see an epic pet and a monk swinging through a wall pretty sure this isn't intended. Please stay on topic this is not rants and flames. Everyone benefits from this change if you are a legit Everquest player.
