Changed the lore and story in what way though? There isn't exactly a plethora of lore and story in 4-6 (they're just movies after all) and I don't see them contradicting what was shown in them. There may be small liberties taken with some things, like maybe the Emperor's ghost somehow survived, Boba Fett survived (we all know that's gonna happen anyway) or expanding on why that cave on Dagobah was so full of the dark side of the force.

I love the logic behind this scene.. at the military base they managed to corral a lion or some shit into a bathroom and instead of doing anything about it, they just put a sign on the door that says, "Dont Enter: Lion"

aside from the racism(fuck off Big J), this opinion is the correct opinion. you're being milked for theater dollars by a film franchise that hasn't been any good for decades. maybe try new things, living in the past is pretty sad.
