I dont understand the "this quest not worth the effort.

The people that say this are the type who get powerleveled and enjoy Chardok AOE. Keep it classic, the quest is a lot of fun <3

If you ever want to buy spells again in Qeynos Catacombs, don't do this quest very many times as a necromancer.
You will become KOS rather quickly to the guildmasters in the area, some of whom wander.
If you are a Human, you can do this quest from the beginning of your life. If you are an Erudite, you will need to kill some gnolls to approach Captain Tillin. Also, be aware that if you followup with the moonstones turnin, you will encounter some KOS npc's over in the bar there as well, and killing gnolls won't help with those.

This quest is a 100% worth it as a human necro. The real bummer is that you cannot do the rabid grizzly/wolf pelt quest at the Rodcet Nife temple, because you get 2-3 plat a pop for those! If you're apprehensively to the Rodcet bro's (Temple of Life faction), you can turn them in. It's worth it to stack up on pelts whenever you see the rabid wolves (left side when zoning in from Qeynos, roaming along the left hills0 and rabid grizzlies (right side, roams towards Blackburrow and back) because you make serious bank from them. Those, however do hurt your Blood Saber faction.

Just remember to con the corrupt guards once in a while and if faction becomes an issue, kill the lower level guards like Guard Cheslin (lvl4 guy that roams by Blackburrow and drops a card). My human necro is lvl13 and hasn't run into any faction issues (yet)!

I love this quest. I turn in the moonstones also for for the faction as it also helps with the next quests the bandit sashes. The gnoll teeth pretty much level you easily to 12-14 which depending on how twinked you are lets you do the bandit sashes.
