dude probably had no success finding his answer through search because alot of the tech support posts are filled with offtopic conversations and rnf-type arguments, very few resolutions. you are the problem, man.

He's right that the forums is riddled with the answers to this question already... a simple search would have found it for you.... But maybe that was a little rudely put lol

Thulack posted the fix. He then commented outside of that with an opinion. If you don't like his opinion, ignore it. Simple as that.

I'm not very tech savvy so I didn't know what that error message meant, and so didn't know the proper terms to search for, other than entering the string of numbers and letters that were in the error message. Now that I have an idea what the problem is I've found plenty of fixes through the search.

However, none of them have fixed the problem yet, but i'll continue trying. I wont be asking for anymore help though, because I don't feel like being belittled and insulted by an obnoxious and condescending "person" because I don't have their staggering level of amazing computer skills.

Again, thank you to the ones that were actually helpful, it is very much appreciated.

I had this problem as well. For some reason when I copied the directory from my other pc via my flash drive it wouldn't work. I had to use the CD's and do a fresh install. Try using a directory like "c:\eqtitanium" instead of the default directory.

I've also had luck with deleting my eqgame.ini file and letting the game make a new one. Double check the video section and make sure all resolutions match what your monitor is currently set too.

Lastly make sure you are running as admin and try different compatibility settings.

None of this worked for me until I reinstalled from the Titanium CD's on my recent windows 10 install.
