Error message
 

I keep getting this message when trying to start the game. ive tried searching, but to no avail. any idea's?

Change your resolution, set to xp compatibility. There are plenty of things to try. Did you search the forum before asking questions? Did you try anything to fix it first or you just blindly posting without doing any work yourself to fix it?

He's right that the forums is riddled with the answers to this question already... a simple search would have found it for you.... But maybe that was a little rudely put lol

Try windows compatibility mode, that fixed an error like that for me.

Nah i just dont like people who obviously didnt do their research before asking a question. This isnt Reddit.

Then why post? You contributed nothing useful. If he did something that annoyed you, ignore it and move on. This isn't RnF.

I posted his fix....To search for the problem. Because many people have fixed this problem in the past.

when i did a search, by google and by forum search, i used the error code and nothing came up. I apologize if my lack of knowledge in searching for the correct answer annoyed anyone, and thank you to the people who constructively helped.
