I'm broke unfortunately, which is why I'm camping it in the first place. Also I kind of want to see this through, seeing if I can quantify exactly how unlucky I can be. Thanks though!

What level are the spiders and at what level can i solo them reasonably well as an epic'd shaman?

High 40s/low 50s

I started at 55 and it was doable. They are fairly resistant and they attack very quickly. I use slow and malo on them even when root rotting due to the possibility of be I g phased into other spiders/traps or aggroing a hidden spider. Now at 56 it's easier, but I still only take one one at a time.

Well, currently at 302 kills without seeing one. I must be fantastically unlucky =(

sorry about your bad luck man, I know I was frustrated on my first one at only 138 kills.
