It's strangely coincidental that this Very Important Server Fix never cropped up until your guild lost its monopoly on raid content.

I don't love the zerg-to-win philosophy, either, but it's admittedly still better than the alternative of you guys being on top for the majority of players here. Certainly for casual players (and yeah there are some casual players here without footlong neckbeards).

I'll explain:

R99 w/ Holocaust on top = players who don't have the time or inclination to send in a detailed resume to the elite/hardcore raid guild actually have a chance of doing shit and competing in pvp.

R99 w/ Azrael on top = the same players get reamed for shits and giggles by your raid force of BIS VP-geared players with 200 days /played. Being able to even set foot in Seb or KC is out of the question. Server sucks for us. No thrive and no competition.

You call it us not wanting to play because we are losing. We call it not wanting to deal with the shit spawn system you for some reason can't fix.

Knowing that next time you engage the zerg will only be larger isn't as attractive as you might imagine.

3+ years server, every veteran from every guild has cited spawns being locked in place for months at the time as being the most detrimental factor in red's existence.

You keep saying you know, and you'll fix it ... and the best solution you were able to throw out is something Rogean has to trigger ? the guy that you yourselves often joke about how impossible it is to get in touch with him ?


Servers on live reset weekly...Fix the problem already. it's classic.
You know the timers. Recruit and contest.

You add variance because 90-95% of the guild are terrible and uncommitted outside of a single day of raiding. They won't log in for batphones, 4am pops, or competitive pvp that isn't onesided.

Then you have offshoots of 15-20 player guilds that can now compete on their own for at least a minority of mobs throughout the week, who cause the foundation in the zerg to finally rupture until there are many smaller sized guilds doing their own thing and competing for newly spawned raid targets. The people who play a lot every week are the ones who get the most benefit, and that is generally not the players in a zerg guild. Players in a zerg guild log in for 1 day and then log off for 6.

Or... we can go for year #4 of the lead GM telling us if we want to compete we should recruit more
I have no idea who you are, but you obviously have no idea what the current raid scene is.

Raid mobs are currently spread out over four days and have been for weeks. You're living in the past that ceased to exist almost a year ago now. Get a clue before you post again.

Azrael needs to change their ways. They dont recruit and they cant keep their players. Now they want the game mechanics changed to fit their play style.

Arael has the numbers, its been proven 2 weeks ago at CT. If they address why people dont want to join or stay in their guild they can compete head on. Rather than request 72hour variance so they can snake a mob with out pvp.

I dont like variance becasue i cant be commited 24/7.

I wish every mob would spawn 45 mins after i get off work because that fits my play style. I can work, eq, then go out with the few friends i have

noone said anything about variance.

just pointing out to staff that the server has never been able to keep guilds around b/c
things stay locked for months at time, unlike in classic where patches reset the server weekly.

in addition to that, a quick reminder that their "solutions" have sucked.

all the holo leaders were in failed guilds... magically they have a hit when Nihilum is not around to keep them in checked, and get handed the zerg position.

you are not special, you got lucky.

need classic repops, azrael will not zerg one way or another. we get the best YT, only thing that matters.

That was tons of fun for those 2-3 weeks after that your roster went from 40-50 to 70-80 your insane if you think 25 well rounded players can take on 70 . Warm bodies . And yes your right we had 35? For a uncontested ct with 5 guilds combined that we invited and shared loot with . But you have 70-80 for ragefire or a pre naggy clear . And expect guilds to compete
