weird... i tend to port ppl for free (or donations) and when they do tip it is usually 2 to 50plat. How much frigin easier can it get for going... click*
Half the time I cancel the transaction anyways unless they insist or have piles of treasure/plat falling out of their pockets. ...but I understand what some saying; like when a guy who has a SBS, RBG, HBC & more just runs off , while the poor player may feel he now owes u for the same click. We all playing the same game so when I'm freely available, I try to make sure I do a quick zone shout that I'm porting out + if any others want/need a port. No mention of any fees, donations or tips but usually players will. If you're vindictive or just like to keep track then keep a note book close as some do for their no fly list or problem flyers.

Leveling is a better source of income anyway. Nuts to everyone else. They can take the boat.

not what i'm talkin about ^^
in this case, it was a port advertised for plat. whether or not the guy was flush or broke as hell, the polite thing to do is say something like "hey, i'm broke but can i get a ride anyway?" or "hey thanks for the ride" or anything of the sort. and it's not just a click. leveling and gearing the druid represents hundreds of invested hours of time. when porting is how you're making your plat, instead of say farming whatever gear you're capable of, then yeah, it's balls when someone is deceitful, or isn't courteous, or whatever the issue is. /ignore will keep this fella lookin.
