Oh my josh, I forgot bards. +attack speed. +resists. -mob attack speed. Lulls. Mez. DoT. Levi invis enduring breath. -40% exp though. I dunno if you want the ranger -40%, monk -20%, and a bard -40%. That is like .. eh 20% XP gain. The hybrid XP penalty drops off sometime in late Velious tho
The correct answer is bard/monk/shaman.

After talking with them its looking like its either going to be Ranger/Monk/Shaman, or Ranger/Cleric/Enchanter.

What do you guys think out of those 2 options?

Really... Monks are bad.

2 enchanter/shaman if you are set on 3 toons.

But among those, the later. Having Rez when you need it and an enchanter. GG

2nd option is the other most powerful duo in game. Ranger will be somewhat useless. Enchanter pet will out dps and out tank the ranger. However, it won't get the chance to tank because the mob will be glued to the ranger who's soaking up cleric heals.

Its a very viable trio tho...just not from a min/max standpoint.

monk/sham + ???

or

cleric/ench + ???

will both tear stuff up. so let your buddy play his ranger...you will just be carrying him to a certain extent. Much more so with the cleric/chanter duo imo.

I feel Ranger/Cleric/Enchanter has more versatility, though the shaman could bring some bottomless mana and +regen. Just play what yall will have fun with =) Make a story out of it!

Go with the cleric chanter ranger. Worse case let the chanter charm, ranger snares and cleric fears em. Ranger can tank most stuff with cleric HP/ac buffs and chanter slow.

Roll 3 bards, each of you pull 1/3 of a zone and kite it close enough to each other to share xp.
