I use microsoft security essentials and the occasional malwarebytes scan. Never had a virus. I don't do things to put my computer at risk though so maybe that's it.

best antivirus youll ever get is noscript
that's right, 99% of viruses come from javascript or similar exploits ran through your browser, get noscript and you'll roam the web safer then ever before
