Should have added that that was relatively not literally.

Yeah dont worry about the:

Market researchers that figure out what it should do.

Engineers on the front end to figure out how to make it.

Or the freight to get it to you from china.

Thank isn't included in the cost at all.

Sounds like investing in a puppet string would be wise. Sell 50 OT hammers and you break even!

And regarding the trust thing mentioned earlier... If someone scammed one, I have a strong suspicion you would get it back after a petition. The GMs are pretty nice here. If not, WTB 10 OT hammers.
Really need to sell 100 hammers though cause unless you have nice friends you will have to have 2 pairs of strings to keep recharging.

The 4-5k plat certainly isn't commensurate with the effort involved. I'd say it is because puppet strings are so god damned valuable.

It's like somebody bought a $100,000 machine that pumps out cans of soda that make your penis bigger, and it's the only kind of machine that does that. It's not that hard to make the machine create one, but are you going to sell them for $1? Hell no, you'd have to sell 100,000 sodas to even equal the value of your machine and nobody has time for that.
Cock-pop.

Yeah, unless someone keeps your 200k strings when you trade them away to some random level 50 in no guild who you've never heard of before in exchange for his 5k or whatever.

Oops, posted early. Maybe you'd get an item back. But still, maybe you wouldn't. Quite a risk. And then there is potentially the risk of recharging. Server goes down while your strings are on a merchant? Sad times [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

This why I haven't. I was just looking for insight into why people that do sell it charge what they do [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].
