Pretty much the opposite in the grand scheme of things. People doing it big in real life aren't promoting slower exp on a game this old. It makes sense if it is a relevant game with competition. This server is so people can fuck around, enjoy a little nostalgia, play with some friends etc. You are taking the server too serious.

There are probably 30-40 people that play this server way to serious and the remainder of the population are casuals that you "hardcore" players will never be able to understand. Listening to your predictions of what normal people think about server rules is laughable.

This is the exact attitude that all level 60s should have.

I'm hoping they remove the 8 level range and make it 4 so a bunch of level 51 alts need to get leveled up to 55 for maximum OOR healer efficiency. Then maybe I'll get in some groups in my 50s!

he logs in once and hour swings his axe twice, pops ht and logs off

whenever i was in his level range he would get shit on repeatedly. maybe thats why he never tried to stay in the big kids level range?

I'd argue if you don't care about exp/loot then you're on the wrong server. Plenty of arena style EQ PVP only servers where you can log in and get a geared out level 60 and duke it out. Or is it the appeal of being able to drop bronze wearing level 52s that keeps you around?
