Keep exp as CLASSIC as possible!! Don't ruin the journey.
 

There's nothing more enjoyable than the JOURNEY of everquest. This isn't call of EVERQUEST, it's just EVERQUEST. "Youre in our world now" - remember? We had the exp bonus for years, its time to go back to the CLASSICAL roots of the server and watch it thrive and prosper. No more artificially inflating the player base. Experience is almost perfect as is (in fact, I think it might be a little TOO fast still - perhaps we could tune it down to about 0.75x its current value). Don't listen to the vocal minority who want it sped up so they can bard kite their 5th level 60. CLASSIC exp promotes grouping and more importantly, mid level PVP!!! It's the JOURNEY, not everyone needs to be instant level 60 fighting over veeshan peak throwing corpse after corpse like call of everquest.

Promote grouping on a server it is near impossible to find a group. You are a very smart person.

The vocal minority is spamming the forums about how bad this is for the pop, but what evidence do we have that the population is experience bonus related? Lets leave the bonus out for 3-6 months and see where it ends up, my guess will be UP (maybe 300 to 400 players) because it enhances grouping and mid level pvp, aka THE EVERQUEST JOURNEY!

Insta lvl 60 pvp is like call of duty, no thanks I don't want to play World of Warcrap

Last time they removed a 50% exp bonus, server went from 200 pop to 120 pop over night.

Sunday night pop was close to 200 without it even being nihilum raid day when 50 people who play twice a week log on for a few hours. Monday night? 110. You do the math.

i am happy to see the journey has been extended. guess i need to buy some more iron rations.

I logged off and watched tv. Need that bonus brews.
