I've managed to write an ActiveX plugin for EQ inside a browser and just need to write the NPAPI one for firefox/chrome

The smallest I have got the client so far is 762mb (zipped)

I am sure some of these files could go (like the potime one is pretty huge) but not sure what else. Any recommendations? Maybe some of these three digit npc models?

It might not be much but could you get away with removing some of the different sound files?

If you ever get EQ into a web browser, my boss would really appreciate it if you never, ever told me about it.

Thanks :-)

Indeed, I'd end up unemployed. Then I'd have nothing to do but play EQ.

I think this thread should be renamed or somebody should make up a new one that just shows all the EQ-mini and EQ-droid instructions.

This is great stuff and should be easy access on the tech forum.

I have an original EQ disc still..

If I get a little time, I could install just EQ Vanilla and add files from the Titanium install until it works.

And catches you can think of with that?

I was thinking - install original and replace the .EXE's with stuff from Titanium - is EQGame.exe what determines the ports to be used?

Not sure Overcast but I bet somebody here knows the answer.

Also I think there can be a few different versions.
1 with no music files
1 with no music or environmental sound files
1 without any sound files
