using wineq2 and cannot login

Bah, I just tried to get into the game after a little hiatus and wineq does nothing when I run project1999. Weird.

I updated to the lates p99 patch, and this morning wineq updated. I am guessing it could be either of the apps, or both.

Launchpad.exe is the problem ? im gunna make a separate folder and cut that file from my sony file and see if it works,s if it doesn't ill just replace the file. Bamzal keep in touch. I am taking my laptop to my uncles house and he has been able to resolve any problem I have ever had ill have him fix it and explain it to me so that I can help anyone else out that's having issues

Even without wineq2 just trying to run normal EQ.exe I get,

The instruction at 0x0300f0ce refernced memory at 0xffffffffffffffc. The memory could not be read.

ya I have already gone that route. my uncle wont be awake for a few more hours that dude can drink. But ill shoot over there in 2 hrs and he will have it fixed in moments. Just keep checking this forum I will submit the process he used and if it works for me I hope it works for you. in the meantime anyone from CALI ?

also unable to login using WinEQ2

tried logging in the normal way but no luck...

any fixes for this? (Yes I am a bit computer illiterate -- dumb it down for me)

update..

not sure what happened I think it was magic.

rebooted and opened wineq2 as admin and it worked.

maybe if anyone else is having this problem try that [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I couldn't load using it either..

I see some discussions on the lavishsoft forums so hopefully they are looking into fixing it.

Until then, I made a shortcut and applied affinity from it..

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start "" /affinity 1 "C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

^ That will differ from other folks depending on where it is installed, if you have a dual/quad processor, etc.

when I run my task manager its showing eqgame (32bit) in my background processes... and the same file will pop as many times as I try to connect to EQ but no window pops up just a invisible program running. Most people have seemed to have it up and running again, I tip my hat to you fuckers. ill keep posting till fixxed

"You cannot attach a debugger while playing Project 1999." is the error I am getting now with WinEQ. Anyone know a fix for this? First it was the same problem everyone else was having, then I update and now I get this.
