using wineq2 and cannot login
 

using the same set up I have always used, wineq2 I right click icon and click on the path ive always used and it looks like its loading and gunna pop the EQ window open but nothing happens. When clicked wineq2 it said something on a notepad but I quickly clicked the X to abort and didn't read it. Do I need something else to be able to play now ?

I'm getting unknown error repeatedly, and more quickly than I usually do.

wineq patch broke it for now

just use eqgame.exe file till its fixed

my win EQ works fine on my desktop but the one on my tablet dont work ... wierd

I tried using eqgame.exe and now its asking me to delete Wsock32.dll and eqgamedll from my eq titantium directory. how did the patch break it ?

gah I cant find another way to login, I have a hp laptop with windows 8 running wineq2. if anyone can help hit me up

follow the eqemulator guide for creating a shortcut for your eqgame.exe which includes adding the "patchme" to the directory

I cant figure it out. oh well it was a good run lol

Weird, my step dad has the same set up I do but on an HP DESKTOP, and I called him 15 minutes ago to see if he could log in and everything works just fine. maybe a fresh install of wineq2? Or cant you set your computer back to the last time you saved? maybe before the patch version was in affect? just ideas. im an idiot and work construction, need nerd help !

WinEQ2 works fine with my other installation of EQ where the custom DLL isn't installed.
