lol no, not classic for sure. this is why i dont think dispells should be 0 hate. makes no sense. i wonder if they changed it cuz someone posted some shit the other day about dispelling causing too much agro.

Dispel is a beneficial spell. It doesn't change to detrimental if cast on someone outside of group. I don't know how it is on live now but before raids existed you could cast it on someone outside of group to remove quite a few things.

But yes dispel does suck that way and it should be changed. Even if I am right that sucks and shouldn't be how it is!

only time i have ever encountered this issue is when my naked portbot was slaying bulletproofx at like level 45 and gloinzz(60 wiz) kept dispelling my roots off of him

however i still netted the kill because i'm a professional everquest player

dispel needs to be looked at anyways because it's been made 100% unresistable(which is correct) but ruins things like highsun, making them unresistable because of the dispel component when it should be very, very resistable due to the stun and shadowstep components

Dispels need a big rework too btw.

I started a thread on it but its based on memory.

People over on the over side of the project tracks readily remembered and implemented the changes based on that discussion.

Gotta give a little to the community when they come to you with knowledge that there's no way the way back machine/old boards can truly bolster.

It is pretty close to the era were using yes.

Guess where they are going for most velious quest?

How reliable is eqmac for info anyway? If something was supposed to work a certain way but was bugged, does eqmac have that bug or does it work the way it was originally intended?
