ya i been trying to get my hand on a 60 necro for ages but *someone* is jewish as fuck and would rather sit on account for three months than trade it for a reasonable price to the one person on server who has any interest in it at all

The initial DD component of the DoT would have a chance of breaking root on live, but not the actual DoT dmg.

As someone that plays a chanter on 99red, I recognize that the chance of me killing someone 1v1 is below average, but I can definitely fuck with you until you give up or reinforcements arrive. Where a chanter really shines is group PvP imo. CCing the enemy and keeping them busy in one form or another until my comrades can bring down the hammer.

Anyways, the only reason I chose to play a chanter on 99red was because it was the only class left in EQ that I hadn't already played high end that I was interested in. After all, any character is only as good as the person behind the keyboard, regardless of what class they play.
