If I believed him to be cheating I'd hate him as much as anyone else. I just don't believe that to be the case. You guys are just that bad. You need to justify losing to a bluebie, and will do so at any cost. Lolsobad

There are many valid scenarios where the stock hack detection throws the /target report, or the /mqwarp report, I've tested this extensivly on my server, to get better at catching hackers. The big entry to look for is the /mqzone entry, which is almost never caused by valid circumstances.
Things that can cause the /target entry in the logs. 1.) Mobs are showing up further than the clip plane (most common, it's an emu problem) 2.) Target cycle targets a mob outside the clip plane (happens quite a bit) 3.) Assisting a group member to obtain a target or a pet 4.) Glimpse 5.) Eye of Zomm and bind sight 6.) Maintaining a target, and running out of the clip range, then doing anything that utilizes a target check. Things that can cause the mqwarp entry 1.) Translocators 2.) Summons of mobs 3.) Dying and / or going unconcious and regaining conciousness 4.) Shadowstep 5.) Client / Server sync / lag issues 6.) Bard songs 7.) Shape shifting spells There's a few others in both scenario. Now...take into account here, that the same entries show up for actual hackers / mq'ers. So there is no distinction. Simply proving that these can happen under other scenarios does NOT prove that just because there's a log entry means they weren't hacking. The only true measure of someone hacking, is to observe them. I know P99, and many other servers take that stance. Step 1: Suspect, Step 2: Observe, Step 3: Action. Thats the same stance I take with my server. Nothing is done by the logs alone. I dont know whether or not Wolf was hacking, I do know that the logs are far from conclusive though.

I can see why he looked me up; I talked a lot in ooc and trash talked the red crowd a fair bit and so I was a fairly prominent player. I don't think Bardalicious is getting revenge for anything so much as he's just ignorant of how the hack detection mechanisms work. But it doesn't make sense to accuse me of all people of hacks, especially on vztz. First of all, I barely had any success on vztz - I bragged a lot about killing idiots from Great White Buffalo but everyone did that. I got maybe 10 unique yellow texts in my favor and way more that I was on the receiving end of. I'm not afraid of losing my "street cred" by admitting this because I never had any; anyone who played on that server knows my only kills were against complete scrubs and that I tried to stay the hell away from any good players. I only did well on the more recent Red69 server where I impersonated knuckle and stayed at the top of the leaderboards by farming noobs in crushbone. No, I'm not bragging, anyone could have done that. I'm just trying to establish that I did not do nearly well enough on vztz to warrant suspecting me of hacks. There was absolutely no suspicious behaviour on my end; I was never even accused of cheating (at least publicly) and so it came as a complete surprise to me that Bardalicious claimed to have "proof" that I cheated. He still never presented any proof, just his own analysis of the logs from a hack detection system known to produce lots of false positives. I know I seem overly invested in this and maybe it's kind of sad, but I swear I didn't cheat on vztz, nor have I never cheated on any other server, nor even had any cheats installed on my computer at any time. I don't know how I can convince you of this, the best I can do is show the limitations of the detection system and posit some reasons why it would have flagged me as having cheated. edit: I posted this before reading freakyuno's post, but thank you for clearing things up.

Any claims about geegoo hacking is just lolz. Do you guys realize how serious geegoo takes this game... this is literally one of the only positive things in his life and he would not do anything to jeopardize it. If you don't believe me look at (1) the above post and (2) Bug forums, where he generates a staggering 80% of the posts about trivial superficial bugs that don't affect gameplay.
