Colgate, I remember being in Teamspeak with you before YT was on. I was always asking for your help in pvp. Be it in KC, Sro, Lavastorm. EVERYTIME I asked for help from you colgate, you had an excuse of why you were unable to pvp. Don't claim you only play this game still for pvp because we BOTH know that is not why. You quit the game, because your buddies did. THAT IS FINE, but don't come on here claiming anything else please.

Rule city of mist? That's a zone for low 50s players to level up. Does this mean you are bound on the wall and click a nuke on people 5-10 levels lower while they are engaged in fights?

Well said. I disagree with Sirken's comments btw, if that was the intent of the event there were a number of ways to make that happen that would have been fun and not retarded other than randomly popping quadding gods and stripping the bounties buffs with no warning. AKA, make it clear from the get go that it's a FFA type event, give a warning buffs being stripped in two minutes, change it mid event to FFA, etc., etc. Just seemed lazy the way it went down and kind of a cop out. Inb4 the same four people who don't even play on this server spam mad and bad.

What did you expect the intent of the event to be? You knew the rules and you knew your teams game plan so it sounds like you knew the event was going to suck from the very beginning. If I had to take a guess I would say 7/7 of the people that signed up to be the hunted were Nilly members and would have all had the same protection. Your entire guild knew what the event was and you knew there was a prize, which is exactly why you all showed up and probably had DKP awarded.

The GMs put in way more effort to try to build the community then the community does itself. If you guys cared about making an event fun you would have split up into teams. If you wanted to dominate just to get a prize (which you obviously thought was more than a title) then the fact that there was no PvP didn't really bother you.

It obviously annoyed Sirken that time was invested into an event and this server showed up with 5-7 pvpers, 25 people wanting to get their hands on a prize, and the rest of the server ignoring it all together to do normal PvE. He then took it upon himself to fuck up the event and not let the zerg win.

I wouldn't be surprised if the prize wouldn't have been something else if the community would have done the event correctly. You fucking zerg and try to fix an event and the prize gets changed to a title instead of a chance of getting a real item.

You want the GMs to force illusions on everyone or hard code 10 man teams somehow because you can't figure it out on your own? If there were illusions and teams are they going to disable your teamspeak and not allow 3 of the teams to team up vs the other team that isn't Nilly?

when i AM playing everquest, i'll come pvp

every time you'd ask i would either:
A) not be playing EQ and just be in teamspeak talking to people
or
B) in the middle of logging off

has there ever been a time where you said "hey there's pvp" and i'm like "naw dawg i'm farming pixels/exp in <insert dungeon here>"?
