Also Band of Brothers EASILY one of the best all-time series....watch it yearly (usually during the winter when it's cold as shit like it was in the Ardennes that winter.
I think a good chunk of White America would enjoy the lack of ethnic diversity that would have brought to the US.

There can't be a whole lot of WW II vets left. My grandpa served in the Pacific theatre and passed a couple years ago--he was 89.

In his later years Hein used to visit Normandy so often that he became friends with some visiting American WWII veterans. One veteran, David Silva, who took three bullets in the chest that day-possibly fired on by by Hein became his close friend.
