It has been said before but just let me buy a guise. I don't care what the price is. If it's a billion plat I will ruin the day of every decaying skeleton holding a staff until I can afford one and then my fortune will be gone.

I know its "not classic" but allowing vanity items to be bought via vendor could put quite a dent in the large amounts of plat people have.

And how is this fair to people who plan on selling their guised accounts who arent filthy rich? Taking away one of the few methods poor players have to get decent equipment isn't exactly the answer either. Imagine the majority of active accounts with a guise are already the filthy rich players, but I would think theres a few waiting to come back who have one that can't buy anything they want.

Fact is, there's nothing you can do that doesn't hurt either the casuals or the power gamers. As games/servers get older they simply get to a point where the casuals suffer and everything becomes about the power gamers. It's inevitable.

Valid point, but if/when they ban account selling. It becomes moot.

Other than their account becomes less "special"

Have they actually talked about putting an end to the account selling? That may very well end up doing more bad than good. I imagine there's a fair bit of account trading that results in people not getting burned out and bored too quickly. If I could trust people to do it I'd trade accounts all the time as I don't have enough to twink or buy pl

Nilbog has stated from the very beginning that account selling is frowned upon, and the minute they figure out how to fully prevent all account transactions, say goodbye.
