Can confirm this. On live, there was a Pande twink named Belaggio (never trust someone named after a hotel, lil TZ inside joke for yalls where my TZ folks at). She jumped us at Orc Highway and I remember blowing an entire bar of mana, and our enchanter blowing an entire bar of mana, and landing nothing. She'd run around with 45+ druid buffs, so melees killed themselves hitting her (him obv). Literally was untouchable to a non-twink

She spent about a year at the giant fort in Warslisks too. Was beyond ridiculous how hard it was to kill her, though we did do it with like 15 people a couple of times.

On red99 all you would need is an earth pet and she wud be a goner for sure

I have found it all to be random, Maybe earth pets just cast root more often or some shit which is why people complain about it so much. I get earth pets tested on me regularly and unbuffed i sit about 149MR. I resisted a total of 13 earth pet roots before one landed for 3 seconds(this was throughout multiple summons of pet by 60 mage). Though when the final blue con pet was summoned it landed a root on its 4th try(estimating 20 second duration in that time) and it lasted something like 12-18 seconds. None of these pets were even using burnout or weapons so I didn't take much damage. I can see how the proper pet with haste would be OP if it got lucky.

As far as rooting in pvp goes, I stopped bothering trying to get a root off on anyone I know is stacking resist gear because ensnare seems to land way more often. Same goes for bards, I had one twisting me 350mr+ easily with a 60s epic earth pet trying to root me and a cleric spam rooting me. first 25 or so all resist. few mins later with MR song still going cleric got it off first shot for a decent duration. Personally I can't complain about anything other then the fact it removing sow/jboots, just annoying recasting but pvp is pvp.

guy with brother who is a mage disagrees with 99.9% of the server that earth pet is obviously incredibly broken, even after nilbog himself confirmed it in /ooc by logging and testing it the resist checks

I am one of the best geared chars on server and have the natural warrior MR boost of +30. I sit always at the MR cap for root which I think is 180. Mage pets root so fast combined with the bashes that never seem to miss its GG. All it takes is a three second root for me to be focused down and blown up. Since melees can't channel (and the pet is chain bashing you anyway) its GG.

Not playing if changed to root pet! This is the correct fashion right to complain when something is changed? Server will die if you do this. hope i did it right.

I got rooted 7/9 times by Vivonia (level 20 enc) today also whirled 2/4

My warrior has 117 MR (Was tashed so actually 102)
