From day one, I believe it should have been teams (2), item loot, and anti zone-plugging code. People thought it was too hardcore. Hardcore mechanics keep things in check when there are hardcore players. My IMOs.
I dont like the idea of discovering that part of the team im with doing something really annoying and not being able to get back at em because of hardcoded teams. Thats like being stuck in a guild you dont like. Theres also balance, which is easier to maintain with non-hardcoded groups (guilds)

Its still not too late to implement optional item loot and up the xp gain a bit to repopulate server, and then eventually some better resists and tada, resurrected server, no need to talk about a wipe that wont happen.

I know i havent put 50% of the time some other people have put in the server and id quit forever, huge grind isnt new, nostalgia cannot make me grind all over again without my 55+ to fuck around with and gear my lowbies.
