I can't root/snare Kimm to save my life

I went to EF to kill giants and she was in zone already. She noticed I was there and told me something like, "You're lucky I only know you in EQ, because if we met IRL who knows what would go down."

So I was like, "What?" and started killing giants while trying to be friendly. Then she tracked me down, sent the poor, innocent polar bear after me which I freed with Tunare's blessing (dispell). I nuked her low but she kept running away, so I was trying lots of roots and snares which are supposed to be overpowered here, and they all failed. She dispelled my top slot wolf form and ran away, so I went back to killing giants. She kept saying what I imagine were supposed to be inflammatory and hurtful things.

Then I had to log off to do the dishes, and watch TV. I would have shared the giants if she had only asked [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Same issues here Faerie, don't feel bad. Here's how my PvP with the Chew Dogg went last night

I found most of the time in druid vs druid or even some casters its better sometimes to just cast a nuke then spam 3-4 roots and hope one lands then once they are half hp or within 1-2 nuke killing range try and land a CC(they might be running by now, or have zoned you) The only time I have successfully rooted anyone multiple times in a row with a cleric was on Nfex(necro i think) and I hit him 4 out of 5 times with the high level cleric root.

Yeah root is almost useless, and snare is completely useless :P

PvP here is pretty classic; all nukes no cc!
