I used to play Live. Back in it's first 2 years. I've just started out on P1999 Blue, hoping to recapture that 'classic' experience (I tried Live again this last week. Was okay. Didn't like a lot of the non-hardcore changes).

I would like to progress, and eventually do the harder, raid content. I understand if you guys don't take ppl till a certain lvl.

Thought I'd ask if I could join anyway. :P

-LITERALLY- just started.

I'm going with necro to start (like my main was back when Live launched). Tbh though, since I am starting from scratch, I don't mind playing whatever (casters preferred though).

Play whatever class you think you'll enjoy. You'll be spending far too many hours of your life playing that class, so why play something you wouldn't love as much as possible?
Anyway, while we can't accept you until you're level 40, feel free to chat with any BDA you see online and I'm sure we can answer your questions, help you out, etc. I'll be playing again in less than a week and I'll be glad to duo with you on my level 20ish enchanter if you're around that level by that time.
