I played their K&B server, and my toons were #1 and 2 on their leaderboard by a healthy margin. Consequently, the playerbase of the server started to petition en masse to the both of them that I was hacking/griefing them/needed to be banned, etc.

So to avoid the same bullshit that occurred on VZTZ from similar QQing by the playerbase about hacking, I live-streamed 24/7 on K&B, and made them, as well as the server, aware that they could watch me play their box to rest assured there was no hacking-- only pro as fuck everquesting-- going on. Anyway, they ignored the stream and let the QQing influence them, which sort of culminated in me being told in their IRC that despite everything I was doing to alleviate their concerns, they still suspected me of hacking.

At that point I knew my ban was just a matter of time, and then this:

Happened-- which, if you played that server during that era (not sure if they changed it afterwards), happened at every zoneline fight because bards/necros could not resist casting fear (which worked on PCs on that server). So, to put it another way, a dumb fucking reason to permaban anyone.

So anyway, after the ban a bunch of us had a lengthy IRC exchange with them. At first they were trying to justify the ban as: I had to hack to get back there (lol); then it changed to well-- even if you weren't hacking, you still exploited, if you get feared behind a ZL it's not the fearer's fault for casting fear near a ZL, you must zone immediately after coming to (lol); and then the last thing was one of them was going on about how I was poisonous for the population of the server, wheras the other wanted to unban me b/c of the shit they were getting from the playerbase about arbitrariness/bad decision making/what it meant for everyone else, but I pretty much told them to shove it. I was not interested in dealing with their petty god-complex bullshit, then I was banned from their IRC, and never returned.

There was more to the IRC exchange too, like it became abundantly clear that image was, not even kidding, a moron. GMs with itchy ban fingers, who are morons, do not bode well for a server-- and I can't say I'm surprised that it's like 2 years later and their server is still a ghost-town.
