Order of Thunder Faction

Cleric and Pally guild in Qeynos, what can I do to raise my faction there? I want to do the Bonethunder Staff quest but the guys wont emote to me at all.

Two options:

1. Slaughter gnolls. Do the gnoll fang quest in Qeynos for a ton of moonstones. Turn in the moonstones for faction and beer.

2. Slaughter bandits. You can find a ton of them in wk and a few more in SK. Turn in their sashes for decent cash and faction.

I though moonstone turn in was incorrectly showing possitive but was applying negative factions. I remember reading about this somewhere but of the top of my head cant remember where.
