First of all, it's a PvP server. It sounds like you log on, don't even attempt to fight people, and just ask around if anyone wants to group. Yes, this maximizes your chance of finding a group, but also minimizes your chance of doing PvP. It's counter intuitive to the purpose of the server.
If it was counter intuitive to kill mobs for xp on a PvP server everybody would run around at level 1 slaying eachother with rusty bastard swords... This whole statement is generalized and not accurate for most of the playerbase. You can't discount the players that only like max lvl PVP or the people that enjoy twink PVP... Nothing wrong with that, it's their prefered playstyle.

You're trying to take the easiest road to 60 as possible. You play like a blue player then just try to defend yourself if anyone attacks. This shouldn't even be a valid choice for play style on a PvP server. You should be continuously forced to fight against another team or faction in order to XP all the way from 1-60.
Gaining xp shouldn't be a valid choice on a PVP server? I'm leveling a cleric and while I know it's possible to solo to 50, I'm not doing it (although I have soloed alot). The issue you're even getting at is lack of population. It has nothing to do with LFG on healers to XP. If the population was at blue numbers you would ALWAYS have competition for zones and that competition would resolve itself with PVP, don't get the two twisted...

Anyways,
