Your pet won't equip Noclin's Femur because it's no drop. Try to get a mage to summon you a bunch of summoned daggers. You can corpse bank them so you can keep using them after you log out. You can even do it yourself, since it's a level 1 magician spell and if you sell the starter robe, you can buy the spell. Or have a friend create a level 1 mage for you to give you some summoned daggers.

What I did, was make a level 1 mage. Summoned a bunch of daggers, dropped them on the ground, and relogged with my necro real quick. Kind of a pain, but it was the cheapest way.

Just wanted to note-- I had a cleric buddy give my SK's skelly pet a summoned hammer of wrath in an attempt to give the pet magic damage.
Unfortunately, the skelly didn't equip the hammer visually, nor was he able to hit magic mobs afterwards.

I found out that you can give your pets a Lightstone(only the weakest ones as the greater lightstones go for over 4pp) looted of a Wisp it will do dmg then. These are magic items if u look at description, so if u can kill one with magic then equip the lightstone and the pet will hold agro better. One of the pets attacks is still invulnerable but i think its the secondary does hit for damge.
Hope it helps | ||

eq is 13 years old now... how is there any ambiguity about this?
the highest summon level 12 pets for nec/mag/enc will hit magic. pets must be given a magic, droppable, primary usable item (doesn't have to be a weapon) to hit magic before that. Magic boots/shoulders do the same for bash/kick.
