I think you're confusing "holding a tactical advantage" with "scared to make a move".

As someone was on both sides at that time and played here, nihilum never had more than thirty in per holo ban classic, high twenties was the standard number in classic with the occasional spike to the low 30s but usually twenties. It was a lot because there were like 60 people total on the server but that's because all the so called pvp champs who are here now in the new Zerg all quit like pussies rather than fight.
