Disgusting.

Go get your parents and show them what you're posting so they can ground you.
I am an adult, thank you.

I don't mind if you're upset at me. I just hope that you are now willing to stick up for innocent lives, even if they reside internationally.

Don't get me wrong. When we catch the party responsible, I want justice. However, let's do it the right way.

Then act as one and recognize that each tragedy stands on its own and that twisting one massacre to suit the needs or your argument is insidious and obscene.

Do you need your family to die this evening for you to be more empathetic toward the victims of the marathon bombing? Is it gross for me to even suggest it? Are you a full-fledged adult or have you suffered a head injury or some defect at birth, maybe?

I do empathize for the victims of the Boston massacre. I do want justice for what happened. But I am calling injustice as I see it.

It would mean more if you did it every day, then--and not only when you can exploit the totally unrelated tragedy du jour.

I think the point he was trying to make was that there was another way to say what you're trying to. Inclusively, not exclusively.

I feel just as bad for those in Boston as I do the families that were murdered in Afghanistan at a wedding that you linked, but you would win more minds presenting it in a more sensitive way. The focus should be about change, not comparison.

Thank you. I'll remember this in the inevitable event that I have a discussion about this.
