Project1999 had 1k ppl on prime time, now its 650-750 on prime time.

At what point at any point in this week has the prime been 650-750? I've never heard of such malarkey.

If epicemu or whatever it's is anything like Project EQ then ti's doubtful that its loot/mob database is anything like velious was when it was live. IMHO, the fact that project1999 goes out of its way to be accurate adds legitimacy and endurance to the experience. It ensures that p1999 has a draw.

But I do think people will go to other emu servers for periods of time just to goof around and box. I do see them coming back sooner or later, since p1999 is the only way to get (accurate) classic eq.

I wanted to point this out because the database differences are rather hard not to notice.

I will rescind my statements if it turns out that epicemu tries to be accurate.

Velious release here could be the death of that server, in all honesty... it'll become a refuge for people from EQmac and here who want to 2-box.

Worse still, the grouping bonus over there means you're penalised for trying to play solo...so by NOT boxing you're losing unless you can find a group. Should it be that way?

Until Classic EQ comes out which will top them all for being entirely recoded. From what I hear it's over 95% done and entering beta soon.
