The arguement from logic is a common one that people have trouble with.

Based on my first two facts (Which you agree with) the most logical explanation for Trakanon moving back and forth between the shrooms and his lair would be that a TMO FD'er was back there doing his thang.

Demonstrate how this is the most logical explanation. I disagree if what you claim is true. You claim he was going back and forth between shrooms and his lair? How many times? Once? 10 times? I seem to remember him heading to ledge multiple times.


Logic is about using the FACTS (WHICH YOU AGREE WITH) to explain a reasonable causation. As you can see, from the above, LOGIC would dictate that TMO was responsible.

No it wouldn't. Bias would dictate that, not Logic. Your facts demonstrate nothing other than a possible initial trak to shroom train. Your claim was that a TMO member was ping-ponging trak. Your "Facts" in no way support this claim, no matter how much you want to "believe" they do or how much you demonstrate argumentum ad nauseum



From there it's your choice where to go, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't bring logic into the arguement until you fully understand the principle.

Guys, it really isn't worth arguing with Alarti, unless you get some sort of enjoyment out of it. I think that he knows exactly what happened today but gets some odd joy out of coming here and feigning ignorance. It would seriously be impossible for anyone who has raided here for more than a couple months not to realize what was going on this morning. This is just another instance of TMO forum warriors throwing out as many hypothetical scenarios as they can to explain what was clearly training and raid stalling. They wiped on Trak, saw we had ~50 people and would easily kill it, so they trained and stalled us hoping to buy some time to recover; we know it, they know it, everyone knows it. Now they're just trying to get a rise out of you by denying it.

I have no facts based on server logs, so the only ones I'm able to work from are as follows:

TMO engaged trak first
Trak Shrooms the first to engage

Your claim was that FE trained themselves covertly with an FD class in the shroom lair. I discarded that explanation given the numbers we had ready to engage and the FACTS that you engaged first so you had someone in the shroom lair at the time. It would require surmountable evidence to prove a claim like that.

You don't usually require many facts to explain a rather reasonable causation. Asking us for fraps to prove your fail engage lasted 20 minutes is unreasonable when the only other explanation would be that we chose to train ourselves despite sufficient numbers and no wipe. We should be asking you for fraps to prove that you didn't.

Either way, you talk a big talk, but what you're describing is not logical, reasonable thought. It's a crackpot tin-foil hat theory at best, ignorance of your own personal experience at worst.

I answered the call to arms today for my tmo brethren, my first trak in a while. Our early engage would have been ok if the clerics did not fuck up heals. After we completely newbed it up and wiped we were told to make sure trak did not completely reset to allow us time to recover while attempting to wipe fe in the process. Our fd'rs bounced trak around a few times at the behest of alarti. The folks in vent were laughing their asses off watching fe continually camp out.
