Devs instated a 75% exp bonus on top of the server's existing 1-50 bonus. It was supposed to be temporary. They patch the server & remove the 75% bonus. People /cry, they respond by adding back in a 25% exp bonus, after stating that the 1-50 bonus didn't go anywhere. They also made it clear that the ludicrous 75% exp bonus was left in accidentally. More QQ.

So in reality, all you "lost" was 50% bonus. Which wasn't supposed to be there in the first place.



So, there. There is the answer to your OP. You can stop making these threads now.

What is the point of an exp bonus?

It functions as a motivator for people to play on this server and to counter the pvp death penalty.

Why would you have that for only a little while, then remove it? What is the point of having it temporarily?

If you have an xp bonus implemented that is helping the population of the server why would you cut it?
