![]() Is porting to old world, then manastoneing and waiting to regen, then gating back to hunting spot, is that really that efficient?

Without clarity or bardsong or anything, a wiz will normally be medding for like 25 mana per tick. After you consider spending ~200 mana to gate to a classic zone and back to your kunark zone of choice and the 2ish minutes you're on loading screens, a wiz with a 3k mana pool would probably save himself 6-8 minutes every time he needs to go from oom to fm.

Wizards with epic get an 800 point rune with a 15 second cast time. Click stone 14 times for 840 hps and getting back 280 mana in ~17-20 seconds. Let's say the wizard has 2.8k mana that he needs to make back. That is 10 iterations of the epic/stone. @ 20 seconds a piece = 200 seconds or 3 minutes and 20 seconds to full mana. Rather than straight medding, let's say the wizard has meditate skill of 240 (20 mana/tick), 2.8k mana at 20mana/tick regen = 140 ticks * 6 seconds= 840 seconds or 14 minutes. Savings of 10.66 minutes (excluding harvest). If you are a druid with fungi + fungus staff (or other regen/chloro), then you will be regening 20-30/hp a tic + what you normally get for sitting. If you have Robe of the Spring (250hp every 12 seconds) or Elder Spiritist Greaves (200hp every 12 seconds), it goes even faster. This allows a druid to achieve ~155hp/tick or a little over 2 clicks of the manastone for 40 mana. And while the druid is sitting regenning hp (which can still occur while kiting or running back to camp), he can also sit to regen and also get his meditate going at the same time. Clerics with Complete Heal are insane, but can't port as easily. Donal's BP is even more insane. Manastone full health, then click BP, 20 seconds later, do it again. The amount of mana you get is completely dependent on total hp. Say the cleric has 2500 hp self buffed, that is 41 clicks of the manastone (leaving 40 hp) giving you 820 mana. If the cleric needs 3k mana back, just repeat this 4 times with Donal's BP in under 1.5 minutes. If with regular CH, then you need 7 iterations to overcome the 400 mana CH takes, with a net gain of 420 mana each time. Regular CH only takes 10 seconds to cast, so it also takes about 1.5 minutes to get almost full mana using this method.

![]() Torpor shaman in old world with a manastone is pretty boss too. You can keep torpor on yourself literally the whole time if you don't always have to canny.

![]() Cleric easily derives the most use from a manastone. Next in line are Shamans and Druids (who have certain clickies). A 60 shaman who has Fungi Tunic + Fungus Covered Greatstaff is going to take ages to Canni back up to Full Mana, so at 37hp/tick + mana stone this lengthy process can be greatly reduced. Paladins can use manastone to great effect as well and it's made easier via right-clickable heals. Next is wizard (rune epic), and last are Magician, Necromancer, and Enchanter.
