ya you can run multiple clients. I actually wasn't aware multi boxing wasn't allowed so I intended on duoing a sham/monk when I started. When I pulled up the 2nd client however and tried to connect I was hit with a "you have been disconnected message" which led me to the forums where it was identified that multi boxing is
PROHIBITED. No, you don't need more than 1 PC to do it, it actually just boils down to if your PC can handle multiple clients (which seriously if it can't handle 1999 EQ x2 you ought to upgrade)
instead i just convinced my wife to play
