Coming from a new player, The exp nerf does suck leveling up for sure. It basically weeds out the hardcore/lots of free time players from the semi casuals, Up until like 40 I have just started seeing some pvp action and with majority of people already 50+ you literally NEED to be on the other side of the level gap. I have enough free time that I can get by with exp how it is, But I see how it deters other people who either don't work at home or work normal long hours and only have a few hours at most to play a day at max if they ignore everything else irl.

and we all know how fun a server full of hardcores is

you need casuals for a decent social environment
