It definitely has a massive effect on charm durations. See Loraen's posted data earlier, and if that is not enough for you, this research I did:

Thank you for your input. It can be chalked up to selfishness, but I appreciate your data mining.

back during original through kunark, there was no hard data or clear word from Verant (!) on charisma. I was an enchanter main then too. It was nuts. Think about it: the *rumor* is it's important, and there are cha gear items that are designed for enchanters so.... we all drew our conclusions.

Unless I am mistaken, in original charisma in fact did nothing except get you higher vendor prices. So classic. I chased a stat for like 2 years only to realize, it actually isn't coded to do all that much.

Then I went 255 STA + 255 INT. And was at peace.

edit: I know it is different now, I meant in original. Enchanters chased charisma like crazy. And it did nothing. lol.

Sadre, what you are saying is the assumption I make as well. That it did not actually do anything in original, but does now. Self fulfilling prophecy?

Like you said. I just don't want to be spending the extra premium to chase a stat that does diddly (I'm looking at you dex).

Hell, I noticed a significant difference in my charms when I went from 100 to 140 cha, never mind when I eventually get up to 200.

Every song I play is actually just me screaming the 1812 Overture in a raspy, shrieking falsetto.
