Low level shamans without exceptional gear can be difficult to solo efficiently.
It gets much better at 24, as you get Regeneration, Cannibalize, and a nice new poison dot. Still, soloing as a shaman probably isn't going to be as good xp as a group for a long, long time. In your level range, many people go to Oasis or Unrest. In the past, my grouping path has been as follows (and this is a pretty popular path on p99): 14-22 -- Unrest (Alternatively, 14-18 Oasis, 18-22 Upper Guk. You can build a group in Oasis and take it to Guk) 22-36 -- Mistmoore ______22-27 Pond ______28-30/31 Graveyard ______30-36 Castle Entrance ___Optional: 36-40 Dhampyre I like to stay in Mistmoore all the way to 38. 38-46 Sol B ______38-43 Window ______43-46 Royals (Can stay to 48 and with a strong group pull bats and bugs) -or- 38-50+ City of Mist 50+ Many people group in Karnors and Sebilis As you can see, there is a huge chunk of level range spent in Mistmoore, and kind of a gray area between Mistmoore and City of Mist/Solb at 38/40ish. When I get tired of Mistmoore or it's overcrowded, I like to grab a druid (or wizard), build a group, and go do a fun dungeon like Paw, Kaesora, Droga, etc etc. Which can be a fun way to transition from the mid 30's to the low 40's. Make friends with a druid and a good core group! | ||
