People not quitting over losing 15% xp 55+ from pvp also is a pretty good idea.

Let's pretend I actually care about preserving this server and making it more classic. Then.. I also want to pvp. Do I really want to kill someone 15 times in a week? That's a pop -1. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Chuck, wasn't gonna out you as the masked murderer. But you outed yourself.

Solid partial at 114 fire, looks to match up with my classic formula..

What skill is there to being a caster currently? Spamming roots on melees who can't channel and nuking them down as you sit lev'ed up on the z-axis where you can't be touched quickly refreshing two clickies and laughing at any pumice the melee may try to throw at you? Ya ok pal.
If a caster approaches a melee with a position advantage outdoors they should have the upper hand. If they are spamming root you should have a chance to dispel since root doesn't interrupt. Currently melee still have the huge advantage in dungeons.

If you make it the way it was on live your gear will be much more beneficial to you. Big deal if you can't root someone if they made the changes? Root isn't the big deal with resists. Anyone in your group can dispel a root from you if you can't channel yourself.

If the changes are made their casters can't even put a dent into your hp. I still don't see how a good team here can suffer if one side is spamming roots when it only takes a simple dispel to take the root off your team member. Are these just made up scenarios or do people actually suck enough to do this? If an entire side is spamming root why isn't the other side spamming DD with one guy on dispel watch.

Resists aren't the problem, exp loss and no item loot is the problem.

Seen you take Reefman down to pound town.

No easy feat, esp in the wood elf rogue mirror match.
Must admit, ehunogor often had veleketors lab walls painted red in blood.. Yea those screenshots r a reminder of the golden era in eq pvp and some of the obvious shortcomings on red99.. Glad I could share

Here's where Hunsa got suspended for dispelling statue as I mentioned before when talking about GMs suspending for assisting mobs get the killing blow (this time on our raid)

^^^Can't make that up.

I think the haters will find I'm not lying about this stuff I claim from live, from my "spotty 13 year old memory" (hi all you pixel whoring bug haters out there).

It is just a matter of patching it in. Some of us find a skill based EQ fun, as it involves overcoming a challenge.

Being able to be a retard with 20 hours to play a day isn't skill, nor enjoyable :P.

tbo xp loss is absolutely necessary because without it there would be NO consequence to dying in pvp as it stands now, but it is severe as hell because xping is so godawful slow

thus xp needs to be boosted and the best way to do so is a massive group xp buff to foster cooperation and help melees.
